We are offering the VoltaXX HES batteries in three high performance classes. AX1, AX2, and our high performer factory level packs AX3. For those racers who do not need that extra running time, we are now offering a new level of packs. The AXC series. AXC packs are high performers at a much lower price. These packs are made of cells that exceed 3750 mahr (450+ seconds) but are under 3950 mahr (475 seconds) Voltages are just as high. What is HES?

HES (Hysterisis Enhancement System) is one of the most accurate and consistent Battery Enhancement / Matching Process in the industry. While creating HES, we took into consideration the latest and newest Intellect & GP NiMh battery technology. Working closely with the leading battery researchers and manufacturers, we designed and developed a new process that is raising the quality of the Intellect 3800 and GP cells. Axxis Racing is setting a new standard by which all other batteries will be compared to. Unlike other companies that are using the same equipment and techniques that were introduced over 20 years ago, we took the lead at creating the most advanced battery testing, matching, and enhancement methods available today. By taking advantage of the newest Intellect and GP technology, and incorporating it in to our system parameters, we are obtaining INSANE POWER from the Intellect IB3800 and GP3700 cells.

HES is a systemic testing/enhancing process that ends when each battery delivers its HIGHEST POWER OUTPUT and CAPACITY. Unlike most batteries where performance deteriorates rapidly, HES Enhanced Batteries hold their Power and Capacity much longer. While every matcher claims to ZAP their batteries, Axxis Racing designed a completely NEW ZAPPING Process. By using the HES process, we can provide a better performing battery. This process assures more power and a higher operating voltage from each cell. We look at the actual power band of each cell (not measured on a TurboMatcher 4/35 )
YES, BATTERIES DO HAVE A POWER BAND, and that is what we work with, the ACTUAL operating area (range) of the cell.

Unlike other matchers that only take seconds and Vavg as a measure to match, we put each battery through a much more accurate set of tests that guarantee the Performance and consistency of every battery that is enhanced and matched. The final step is to look at each battery’s own POWER SIGNATURE in order to select them and make a High Performance R/C Battery pack.
To maintain matching standards, Axxis Racing matches cells at either 30A, or at our NEW and Unique R²C Setting (40>23A) which simulates the way a battery is discharged while powering an R/C car. This ensures the closest possible impedance matching in order to deliver optimum POWER and PUNCH. With time you will see that other companies will start using similar if not equal ways to test and match their batteries.

Axxis Racing R&D designed and implemented the HES Battery Zapping Process to obtain more consistent energy levels out of every cell we process. The HES battery zapping process raises the overall performance of a battery. Racers in ALL CLASSES are reporting higher speeds, consistent lap times, and aggressive punch out of their VoltaXX HES powered cars. Axxis Racing is the only company that can process and match Intellect IB3800 NiMh batteries with the HES Battery Zapping Process.

The Axxis HES matching process is unique and revolutionary in many ways.
Not only can we discharge and test at 30A, or our exclusive R²C (Regressive Ramping Current) but we can also maintain a constant power levels (constant power independent of voltage) This process pushes the cell to its limits. Only the best cells can pass this rigorous testing process.
By analyzing each cells discharge profile we can then select and match batteries that have the same power and current transient response levels. This process produces some of the best matched and the most powerful IB3800 r/c battery packs.

The Axxis HES matching system is the ultimate way to enhance and match batteries. The end result are batteries that PERFORM and deliver INSANE POWER.
